Fork needles can be used to manufacture the surface of non-woven cloth into ring-shaped or velour type pattern. To produce ring-shaped and striped products, the fork direction should be at right angles to the moving direction of the web materials. To produce velour type surface products, the fork direction should be the same as the moving direction of the web material. Fork needles are produced into single or multi reduced needles, 16-20 gg are single reduced and 25-42 gg are multi-reduced. The smaller the gauge number, the bigger the respective diameter.
